How to Avoid Expensive Auto Repair

Life as a car owner has its ups and downs. There’s nothing like the joy of driving your car off the lot–whether it’s new or used. After that, most car owners want to do everything they can to ensure their car stays in near-perfect working condition, but no one wants to take their car in for a service and realize they’re going to be spending way more than they initially thought to keep their beloved vehicle around. Here’s the thing: some repairs are inevitable, but with proper maintenance, those more expensive repairs can hopefully be avoided. Let’s talk about how you can do that.

AVOIDING EXPENSIVE AUTO REPAIRS

  • Be sure to check your coolant reservoir on a regular basis, especially when the temperature spikes in the summer. Chronic overheating can lead to some pretty serious damage to your engine, and that can lead to a pricey repair bill. Avoid that altogether by making sure your coolant levels stay where they need to.

  • If you ever notice fluid leaking from your car, be sure to bring it into Team Ryan’s to ensure there’s nothing serious going on. Small leaks are often easily fixed, but they can lead to more damage if not taken proper care of.

During every regular oil change we conduct a safety inspection to make sure everything is in perfect working condition. This can help ensure the small things don’t turn into big things down the road.

  • Tires are an essential part to your car, and I think it’s safe to say everyone knows that. But with that in mind, always make sure to take care of your tires. Keeping your tires properly inflated can help decrease tire wear–which, in turn, will decrease the possibility of your tires becoming a safety hazard.

  • Pay attention to your car’s warning lights. If a light comes on, be sure to bring your car in for a service as soon as possible. Delaying this could increase the issue, making it more expensive as you wait. Be proactive, not reactive! We promise you won’t regret it in the long run!

Team Ryan Automotive is dedicated to saving you money and ensuring your safety on the road. We want to do everything in our power to help you avoid an expensive repair.  To be proactive, schedule an appointment today at 678.765.7926 or visit us at teamryanautomotive.com.

As Buford Highschool Football Sponsors, Team Ryan Automotive had the honor of attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the brand-new Phillip Beard Stadium. It was a milestone moment not only for Buford City Schools but for the entire Buford community. The heat was no joke, with temperatures nearing 100 degrees. As Phillip Beard himself remarked: “It’s hot out here!” But the sun didn’t stop the celebration or the community pride from showing up in full force. Joined by Georgia's Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones, school board members, and other dignitaries, this event was as much about celebrating legacy as it was about looking ahead. “This is a place where we can bring our community together and celebrate our students,” said Dr. Amy Chafin, Buford’s new superintendent, during her remarks. “It’s about our athletes, our band, our cheerleaders - it’s about everyone.” ( AJC ) At Team Ryan Automotive, we remain committed to supporting our community, investing in it now and for the future. We were honored to be part of an event that truly brought Buford together. Serving all communities for Buford and Cumming, GA.
