The TRA Lifetime Warranty is not about selling coverage—it’s about maintaining vehicles correctly and standing behind our work for the long haul. 

TRA Maintenance Standards are intentionally more conservative than original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommendations. OEM maintenance schedules are often influenced by competing priorities such as cost‑of‑ownership marketing, warranty exposure, and regulatory targets, rather than long‑term vehicle durability. 



TRA standards are based on real‑world driving conditions, modern engine and component design, and our commitment to reliability and longevity. Following this maintenance schedule is required to remain eligible for the TRA Lifetime Warranty and is designed to reduce preventable failures, extend component life, and protect our customers’ vehicles well beyond minimum OEM guidelines. 

In addition, many vehicles operated in the Metro Atlanta area fall under what several OEMs classify as severe operating conditions. Heavy traffic, frequent stop‑and‑go driving, extended idling, short trip usage, high ambient temperatures, and elevated humidity all accelerate wear on fluids, filters, and critical engine components. Because these conditions are common in daily driving throughout our region, TRA maintenance intervals are intentionally adjusted to reflect real‑world use rather than ideal laboratory conditions. This approach helps ensure long‑term reliability and protects vehicles operating in environments proven to be more demanding than standard service assumptions. Please note all services are due whichever comes first: mileage or time.

For your convenience, service records for all services and repairs performed at TRA are maintained for all future or warranty verification. If any services or repairs are performed outside of TRA, please be sure to keep your receipts as they will be required for warranty verification and coverage. Carfax records or any other third-party system records are not acceptable for warranty coverage verification.

• The Lifetime Warranty is not transferable and can be honored at any Team Ryan Automotive location.
• Team Ryan Automotive will not pay another facility to perform warranty repairs.
• Warranty may be voided by evidence of abuse, modification, neglect, or intentional damage.
• Tires: covered by road hazard protection if purchased at time of installation.
• Batteries:  100% Free Replacement 5 years / 60 Months
• Electronic modules: covered for 12 months / 12,000 miles.
• Brake pads/rotors and brake shoes/drums: covered for 12 months / 12,000 miles.
• Shocks and struts: covered for 12 months / 12,000 miles.
• Aftermarket engine/transmission mounts and CV axles: covered 12 months / 12,000 miles (OEM carries Lifetime).
• Aftermarket catalytic converters: covered 12 months / 12,000 miles (OEM: 2 years / 24,000 miles).
• Engine seals and gaskets: Lifetime coverage only if oil changes are performed every 5,000 miles.
• Large components (engines, transmissions, transfer cases, axle/differential assemblies): excluded from Lifetime Warranty, specifically documented on repair order or defaults to 12 months / 12,000 miles.
• All salvage, used, or customer-supplied parts: no TRA warranty.
• No coverage for towing, rental, lost wages, or incidental expenses.
• Maximum warranty coverage cannot exceed the total parts and labor cost of the original repair.
• No coverage for fluid services, wiper blades, light bulbs, solid drive axles, trailers, or RVs.
  

Vehicles that are commercially used or considered medium/heavy-duty by TRA are not eligible for Lifetime warranty coverage. These vehicles are covered under a 3-year / 36,000-mile limited warranty, subject to all restrictions listed above.
