Dan Ryan

Co-Founder & CEO, Team Ryan Automotive

Dan is co-founder and owner of Team Ryan Automotive, alongside his wife Shara, where he oversees Sales and Operations across all three North Metro Atlanta locations. A graduate of Gwinnett Technical College with Associate's degrees in Automotive Technology and Welding and Joining Technology, Dan has been an ASE-Certified Master Technician for over 25 years. Before opening Team Ryan's doors in 2015, that experience gave him a firsthand look at how easily trust can break down between a shop and its customers. This is what drove him to open a place where he could control the narrative, both for team members and customers. The goal has been customers always being told the truth about what their vehicle actually needs by team members that actually care. 

Dan is passionate about developing the people behind Team Ryan. He regularly seeks out industry and leadership training opportunities and works to bring those same opportunities back to the team, believing that well-trained, well-supported team members are what allow the business to deliver a consistently great customer experience. 

When he's not at the shop, Dan is spending time with Shara and their two boys, who love representing Team Ryan at local sponsorship events. He can often be found riding mountain bike trails around North Metro Atlanta, lifting weights at a local gym, grilling over charcoal at home on his ceramic grill, or simply enjoying family time in Sugar Hill, where the family lives central to all three Team Ryan locations.
