Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer, Team Ryan Automotive

Shara is co-founder and owner of Team Ryan Automotive, alongside her husband Dan, where she leads marketing strategy across all three North Metro Atlanta locations. Born in Atlanta with family roots across Gwinnett, Forsyth, Cobb, and Fulton counties, and as far north as Catoosa County, Shara has deep ties to the communities Team Ryan serves. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Sciences and Technology from Pennsylvania State University, with a minor in Spanish. Before Team Ryan, she built a career in IT Product Development and Program Management, focused on creating products and services that genuinely helped solve human problems. She brought that same problem-solving mindset to the auto repair industry, an industry historically dominated by a male voice. Bringing a female perspective to the table, Shara champions a transparency-first philosophy, giving customers visual proof and clear explanations rather than asking them to simply take the shop's word for it. From brand strategy and reputation management to technical integrations and community partnerships, she oversees the full customer journey to ensure every interaction with Team Ryan reflects the trust and care the business was built on. 

Shara is deeply invested in the communities Team Ryan serves. She's an active participant in the Gwinnett and Forsyth Chambers of Commerce and helps lead the company's community engagement efforts, from library partnerships to nonprofit initiatives and youth athletic sponsorships. 

When she's not working, Shara is spending time with Dan and their two boys, who love representing Team Ryan at local sponsorship events. The family lives in Sugar Hill, conveniently central to all three Team Ryan locations. Both boys spent three years in full Spanish-language immersion at The Spanish Academy in Suwanee before starting at Buford City Schools, just around the corner from the Buford store. Shara can often be found taking the boys to library programs across Gwinnett and Forsyth counties, from the Suwanee and Buford/Sugar Hill libraries to Sharon Forks, Hampton Park, and Cumming, or out enjoying the outdoors together, whether it's the playgrounds at E.E. Robinson Park or Gary Pirkle Park, family bike rides at Haw Creek, Sims Lake, or the Suwanee Greenway, swimming at Lake Lanier, or exploring the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center.
